Description
Andre Bonhomme Vieilles Vignes Vire Clesse 2023 – intense, rich and mature white wine from southern part of Burgundy region in France.
About the winemaker:
The vineyards of the Andre Bonhomme winery, founded in 1956, are 100 years old and have been grown according to the principles of organic winemaking and contributed greatly to the emergence and popularization of the Vire-Clesse appelation itself.
Tasting profile:
The wine, which is produced from the Chardonnay grape variety, is matured in oak barrels for 20 months. The rich aromas of nuts, yellow fruits and flowers are felt in the wine of old vines and aged for a long time. The taste has bright notes of ripe pears, butter buns and peaches. The wine has an excellent balance of richness, shows crisp acidity, buttery profile and fresh minerality in the aftertaste.
Serving:
We recommend serving this wine at a temperature of 8-10 degrees, aerated for 30 to 45 minutes prior to enjoying in a wide white Burgundy type of glass. Would match perfectlu with fatty fish, snails and seafood dishes.
