Description
Bruno Paillard Blanc de Blancs Millésime 1996 is a top-class vintage Champagne made from 100% Chardonnay grapes, sourced from the finest vineyards in the Côte des Blancs region. The 1996 vintage is considered one of the legendary years in Champagne, known for its excellent balance of sugar and acidity—allowing the creation of wines with remarkable longevity, structure, and complexity. This Champagne was aged on the lees for at least 9 years and continued to mature in bottle after disgorgement, gaining even greater depth and elegance.
The Champagne has a delicate golden color with greenish highlights, and its bubbles are fine and long-lasting. The nose is dominated by citrus fruits, white flowers, nuts, toasted bread, and subtle hints of honey. On the palate, it is complex and mineral-driven, with bright acidity, a refined texture, and a long, elegant finish.
Bruno Paillard Blanc de Blancs Millésime 1996 is best served at 10–12 °C in a tulip-shaped glass, which allows the full range of aromas to unfold. It pairs beautifully with seafood, SOMM fresh oysters, dorado, or delicate cheeses.
