Description
Zenato Sergio Zenato Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva DOCG 2018 – exclusive wine produced only in the best of the year.
A winery run by the Zenato family, founded in 1960 in the Veneto region of Italy. Its founder, Sergio Zenato, had an extraordinary intuition and faith in the wines of the region. His passion and hard work, deep connection to his country, entrepreneurship, openness to innovation, innovation and investment in local grape varieties have made this winery famous not only in Italy but also in the world.
The company now owns 95 hectares of vineyards located in the Lugano and Valpolicella appeals. This allows us to show two sides of the Veneto region – white and red, which perfectly reveal Sergio’s vision. His work and story are now continued by his wife Carla and children Alberto and Nadia.
The Zenato Amarone della Valpolicella is a perfect reflection of the philosophy of these houses in the cup. Only the berries of old vines are used in the production of this wine.
The mixture consists of 80% Corvina, 10% Rondinella, 10% Oseleta and Croatina grapes from the village of Sant ‘Ambrogio. These vines are in the southeast exposure, which results in well-ripened berries. The harvested grapes are hand-picked and dried in a well-ventilated room for about four months. As a result, the grapes lose some of their water and become more concentrated. After slow fermentation with skins, the wine is matured for at least four years in large Slovenian oak barrels and then kept in a bottle for at least another year before being placed on the market.
Zenato Sergio Zenato Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva DOCG 2018 can be enjoyed now or kept for another 20 years. We recommend providing a lightly cooled, 18 ° C temperature. Goes well with beef chops, steaks and matured cheeses.
